Quality Early Childhood Education

A recently released study from the University of Chicago and University of Southern California Shaeffer Center presents new research that states a 13% ROI on early childhood programs. 

The study followed participants from childhood to age 35 and found man positive effects of quality pre-K on the their lives. While high-quality early education programs can be expensive upfront, Heckman argues, the long-term return on investment is huge.

Children who attend a quality early education program are more likely to have higher incomes, better health, a higher IQ, and lower obesity rates.
