With the choice of the name, Legacy Academy for Children ®, we laid the groundwork for the mission and
philosophy of our organization. Your children are your legacy, hence our motto "the perfect beginning for
your legacy".
From the beginning, quality early care and education has been our focus. Our name and trade identity are synonymous with
the highest end of the spectrum of educational facilities for children. We focus on those aspects which
leave parents with a feeling of confidence and pride in the choice they make to enroll their children.
Legacy Academy, Inc. monitors and assists each individual franchisee so that a consistent look and feel of a
positive, nurturing, environment is felt and recognized when parents visit any or all of our schools.
WE require all of our new franchisees to submit for accreditation with NAEYC by their third anniversary.
NAEYC stands for the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It is an independent body
based in Washington, DC which is widely recognized as the foremost authority in early childhood care in the
country. All schools are given help and guidance with this process along with encouragement to keep achieving
the best possible environment for children.
Legacy Academy, Inc. has its own copyrighted curriculum, Framework for their Future ®. A team of early care and education
experts created the curriculum specifically for Legacy Academy, Inc. and it is used in all of our
schools. Each franchise is required to employ a curriculum coordinator who is on site at their school every
day. The curriculum coordinator is there to monitor, instruct, and ensure that Framework for their
Future ® is properly implemented and used in all classrooms. Monthly curriculum meetings are held at the
corporate office to review all issues with curriculum.
In closing, choosing Legacy means choosing to make a positive difference in the lives of children.
