Congratulations to all our children and families for raising over $3,000.00 for St. Jude Children's hospital in Memphis, TN. Our children participated in a Bike Safety class during the week, learning the rules for riding bikes and how important it is to wear a helmet. Police Officer Rose Steagall joined us for the day. She inspected our bikes, helmets and riders before they participated in the trike-a-thon. Officer Stegall showed the children the "egg test" and what would happen to them if they did not wear a helmet while riding a bike. The children were treated to snow cones as a treat. Thank you to all our wonderful teachers and parents for all their help in making this day another successful event!
Chick-Fil-A Thankful Thursday
We had an awesome time at our first "Thankful Thursday" at Chick-Fil-A. The event was to raise money for books for our center. Chick-Fil-A gave us 10% of the sales that evening if we had fifty people from our center sign their name on a registry. We had 121 names and raised over $200.00! Way to go Legacy families! You are the best!
