Anita Cole - Director
Anita Cole was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations. She moved to the Atlanta area in August, 2006. Anita has experience working with children since 1998 and joined our Hamilton Mill school as a Senior Toddler teacher in March, 2007. Anita transitioned to our Front Desk Assistant after a few months and then became our Director in February 2008. Anita is a mother of 2 young boys and loves to cook and spend time with her family.
Laura Pickford - Assistant Director
Laura Pickford is from North Carolina and joined the Legacy, Hamilton Mill team as a Pre-K 3 teacher in December 2004 at the opening of the school. She transitioned into the Assistant Director position in November 2006. She has been in the Preschool and Child Development field for the past 11 years. She has experience as classroom teacher for various age groups, Team Leader, Assistant Director and Co-Director. She is a mother of 3 and most of her free time is devoted to her family. She also loves to shop and watch movies!
Dana Summerville - Curriculum Coordinator
Dana Summerville joined the Legacy, Hamilton Mill team in July of 2005 as an Infant teacher. She has been in the Early Childhood Education field for over 10 years and held the position of Infant Lead Supervisor for her former school in Virginia. Prior to that position she worked with pre-school aged and school-aged children. She is currently completing her CDA credential. Her hobbies include singing, playing the keyboard and shopping.
