Legacy Lake Mary News and Events

We are very excited to announce that we have achieved accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)! We are one of the first centers in the country to receive this honor through the new accreditation system that raised the bar even higher on their quality standards. Less than 10% of childcare centers in the United States are able to obtain this accreditation and we are therefore very proud of our staff for all of their hard work. We would also like to thank our parents for their support throughout the process and especially recognize Mrs. Michelle, our Assistant Director, and Miss Debbie, our Senior Toddler teacher, for leading our center through this process.

Legacy Academy Lake Mary has earned the Pinnacle Award honoring the Franchisee of the Year and the Quest for Excellence Award for our commitment to promoting the highest quality standards set forth by Legacy Academy Corporate.

Our little Picassos proudly showed off their talent at our 2nd Annual Art Gala. The classrooms transformed into Galleries that featured a variety of art and parents bid on the collections to support their children's classrooms. This is one of our favorite events and we hope you enjoy the photos.



It was hard to believe that it was Graduation time once again! Our little legacies entertained us with music in various languages and proudly accepted their diplomas at the conclusion of the evening. We honored three of our children who had been with us since our opening day with the Little Legacy Award. Congratulations to Skye, Caden, and Jillian and a special thanks to their families for choosing Legacy Academy as "the perfect beginning for their legacy". Our graduates celebrated their last day of school with a Caribbean party and were looking forward to a fun-filled summer at our "Building Our Legacy" Summer Camp!



Finally, we showed our appreciation for our troops as we sent pictures, letters, and supplies to the troops that serve with Eryn's dad. We were so proud of our children for saluting these very brave men and women.
