Larry and Susan Collins - Owners
Susan and Larry Collins are the owners of Legacy Academy Lake Mary, Florida located across from the Colonial Town Park complex on International Parkway. Susan is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Larry from Ball State University. Their careers have spanned Management, Marketing and Finance with Fortune 100 Companies to Legacy Academy For Children where they envision creating the 'premier' child learning center in Central Florida. The strength of the center is the staff of experienced, educated professionals dedicated to providing children, parents and the community with quality child care in a loving, nurturing environment. The center will operate under National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Guidelines upon opening and then apply for accreditation after one year in operation.
Susan is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), National Association for Child Care Providers, and the National Child Care Association. Susan and Larry are members of the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce.
