Kim Leiding - Director
Kim was born in Michigan, but was raised in Lynchburg and Roanoke, Virginia. She started at Legacy Academy Dacula in July of 1999. She served as Program Coordinator until May of 2002, when she was promoted to Director. She earned the National Administrator Credential in June 2002. Legacy Academy Dacula earned NAEYC accreditation in July of 2003 under her direction. In December of 2004, she helped open Legacy Academy Hamilton Mill in Buford, creating a high quality program with the Hamilton Mill team. Prior to her work with Legacy's management teams, she had over 10 years of experience working with all age groups and received an Associates Degree from Florida College, with a major in Education. Kim enjoys spending time with her daughter, who she adopted in 2003, traveling to Virginia to see extended family, shopping, and spending time with friends.
Angie Reid - Assistant Director
Angie was raised in Alabama. She started as our Toddler teacher at Legacy Academy Dacula in 2003. In June 2004 she was blessed with a little girl, Ryleigh. She furthered her education by exploring the medical field in 2006, where she because a Medical Assistant and soon after the Office Supervisor. She quickly saw how much she missed working with children and returned to our Legacy Academy Mill Creek location in 2008. She is currently taking courses for Child Development Associates Certificate. She has over four years of administrative experience and over five years of child care experience.
Kathy Wilson - Administrative Assistant
Kathy was born in Atlanta GA. She started as a seasonal employee at our Legacy Hamilton Mill location in 2004, and joined Legacy Academy Mil Creek in October of 2008. Her background includes an education in the Arts, as well as student teaching within the DeKalb County School System. She has over 16 years of administrative experience within the Architectural and Interior Design field and over five years of child care experience. Kathy is married and has two school age children, Chandler and Zachary. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, painting, reading and spending time with family and friends.
