Monday's
Playball is held every Monday at 9:30 am. This is an extra curricular activity that we offer outside of your paid tuition. PLAYBALL is an early sports and movement program offered to children between 2 to 9 years of age that actively incorporates the development of life skills through the means of sports skills. PLAYBALL teaches the basics of 12 different sports skills. The life skills learned include confidence, sportsmanship, cooperation, independence, flexibility, responsibility, persistence, leadership, goal setting, self worth, respect, positive relations, decision making, courage, and communication.
It has been scientifically proven that physical activity has a profound influence on academic performance. PLAYBALL provides children at Legacy Academy with an opportunity to develop every aspect of their lives. PLAYBALL owners, Eric and Abbie McBrayer are actively involved in the implementation of the PLAYBALL program at Legacy Academy Suwanee Dam and provide on-going training to coaches every 12 weeks.
Tuesday's
Chinese Class is held every Tuesday at 11:30 am with Ms. Jenna. This is an extra curricular activity that we include in your paid tuition. Why learn Mandarin? China is a global player in the business environment. By giving your children the ability to speak the global language at an early stage, will be a perfect step to guide then into a successful future. Recent research suggest that the development of two languages benefits the brain tissue density in areas related to language memory and attention.
Wednesday's
Spanish Class is held every Wednesday at 9:30 am with our very own wonderful Ms. Estabania and Ms. Patricia. This is another extra curricular activity that we include in your paid tuition. Why learn Spanish? Spanish is the leading secondary language after English around the world. It is the official language on 4 of our continents. By starting early, your children can speak smoothly and confidently from the beginning. "The more children learn abut a foreign language, the more they understand about their own language."
Thursday's
Art Classes are held every Thursday at 10:30 am with our very own amazing Ms. Amanda. Ms. Amanda teaches Art classes on her free time and now we have added it as another extra curricular activity included in your paid tuition. This Art class is here to enhance the art that in already incorporated into our curriculum. Art is a great source of expression. It can be a portal into a child's inner being. This class will help teach them the basics of Art.
Friday's
Music Class is held every Friday at 9:30 am with Mr. Tony. This is also another extra curricular activity that we include in your paid tuition. Music curriculum is music enhancement, meaning that we are here to complement what the classroom teachers are already trying to accomplish. We have emphases of our own, but the educational needs of your school come first. Even more importantly, we believe that music can help us focus on the children's social needs, such as enabling them to "let down" and "open up." This way they can take in more information and actually remember it. Something that educators have known for many years about small children is that "their work is their play." So, if we can get them fully engaged in a song, using as many of their senses as possible at one time, then they become a fertile ground for learning.

Creative Movement and Dance is an extra curricular that we offer outside of your paid tuition. This program features one 45 minute class per week here at Legacy Academy. Each class is limited to 14 students. A recital performance will be held at school at the end of the season. This is perfect combination class. This class is divided with 20 minutes of tap and 25 minutes of ballet. Since ballet is the basis for all dance technique, the combination of both work hand in hand. The technical training is taught through ballet, which in turn helps teach the proper shifting of weight and patterns in movement for tap. Since children naturally respond to music and movement, all of the activities are executed to fun music.
